• More wood Feijóo, to the barons: "I will not be your true leader until I win the elections"

  • The Panel The PP recovers ground after its leadership crisis before a stagnant PSOE

The Tezanos CIS barometer corresponding to the month of April catapults the "new PP" with Alberto Núñez Feijóo at the head and places it only three points behind the PSOE.

The survey gives the

popular

vote intention of 27.2%, that is, 3.4 points more than what was granted in March.

On the contrary, the socialists fell 1.2 points and now stand at an intention of 30.3%.

In this way, the difference between both forces is reduced, going from the 7.7 points of distance that was registered last month, to only three points in this month of April.

This CIS survey was carried out after the PP solved its leadership crisis and when Alberto Núñez Feijóo had already taken the reins of the party.

Likewise, it includes the effect that the shock plan designed by the Government has had on public opinion to try to deal with the escalation of inflation and the economic effects derived from the war in Ukraine, as well as the radical turn of the president in relation to with Western Sahara.

This last decision has brought Sánchez a head-on clash with Congress and with his own coalition partner, United We Can.

The survey, in addition, was carried out when the pact between PP and Vox to form a government in Castilla y León had already been announced.
