The Palestinian factions in Gaza announced a state of general popular mobilization, in conjunction with Israeli calls to implement a plan to slaughter sacrifices in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

On the other hand, the occupation forces killed, today, Wednesday, a lawyer, and launched a campaign of arrests in several cities in the occupied West Bank.

The resistance factions called - during a press conference after a meeting in Gaza - for more alertness and readiness in defense of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Palestinian factions confirmed that the joint operations room is in a permanent session to follow up on developments and take what is necessary to protect the Palestinian people and their sanctities.

It also called on the Palestinian masses to go out in the hundreds of thousands, march and perform the next Friday prayer in Al-Aqsa Mosque.

This meeting came in the wake of the settler groups’ announcement, through posts on social platforms, of their intention to “slaughter Easter offerings” at Al-Aqsa Mosque, and urged their followers to try to do so.

It is noteworthy that the Jews celebrate "Passover" next Friday, and for a week.

And back to the Palestinian factions, where they appealed - in a statement - to the Arab and Islamic nation, its scholars, the "free people of the world" and all parties to the broadest popular movement against the occupation and its policies.

Earlier today, an Israeli official spokesman denied the authenticity of reports that settlers intended to slaughter Passover sacrifices, inside Al-Aqsa, saying that these allegations were completely false.

In a tweet, Ofir Gendelman, head of the Arab media department in the government, said that these allegations were promoted by "Palestinian terrorist organizations" and other parties with the aim of incitement and perpetration of terrorist operations, he said.

Gendelman added that Israel maintains the status quo in the holy places, and will not allow any disturbance to security and public order in Jerusalem or anywhere else.

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) had warned against implementing the scheme of "slaughtering sacrifices in Al-Aqsa Mosque," noting that the Palestinians "would not allow this at any cost."

The "temple groups" had set up two tents in the courtyard of the Umayyad palaces (south of Al-Buraq Square) in preparation for scattering the ashes of the offerings that would be slaughtered in the courtyard of the Dome of the Rock in Al-Aqsa Mosque.

She said that she had drawn up plans - according to her claim - to implement the unique goal that has been waiting for decades and long years, to complete the rituals and ceremonies of the celebration of Easter, explaining that the sheep will be brought for slaughter and burning during the days of the feast, which began yesterday and culminates in the evening of next Friday.

Occupation forces invade Nablus (Anatolia)

Martyr and arrests in the West Bank

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that the lawyer, Muhammad Hassan Assaf, 34, was martyred, and 10 others were wounded during the clashes that erupted in the vicinity of what is known as Joseph's Tomb, east of Nablus.

The occupation forces stormed the site to protect a group of settlers who entered the tomb, claiming to have started restoration work, after angry Palestinian youths smashed some of its contents a few days ago.

On the other hand, Al-Jazeera correspondent said that an Israeli military car ran over a Palestinian youth when the occupation forces started leaving the area.

The occupation army stated that its forces have launched a massive campaign of arrests since dawn today, including the cities of Jenin, Tulkarm, Nablus, the villages of Urif, Qabatiya and Jaba, adding that he will give additional details later on this campaign.

Al-Jazeera correspondent returned to say that 3 Palestinian youths were injured at the entrance to Kadoorie University in Tulkarm, during an Israeli special force storming the city.

It also said that the force arrested one of the wounded, Daniel Jaber, who works in university security.

The storming process included confrontations between Palestinian youths and the occupation soldiers, who fired live and rubber bullets, sound bombs and tear gas, causing some protesters to suffocate.

Palestinians fear that the occupation forces will invade Jenin refugee camp, as they did 20 years ago.

The Palestinian Information Center said that the camp's mosques declared a general mobilization to confront any possible incursion by the Israeli army.

This came after a deadline granted by the occupation army to the father of the martyr Raad Hazem, the perpetrator of the recent Tel Aviv operation, to surrender.
