It was in July 2021 that the woman and a man were in her apartment in Örebro.
In connection with a quarrel, the man was stabbed in the chest and back by her according to the indictment.
The woman, who denied the allegations, says that the man attacked her first.
The district court considered that this information could not be refuted and she was acquitted.
The Court of Appeal makes a different assessment and points out that the woman left a vague account of the course of events and points to the fact that the woman was strongly under the influence of drugs at the time.
The plaintiff's account, on the other hand, has been judged to have a high evidential value which is supported by other investigations in the case.
The woman is sentenced by the Göta Court of Appeal for attempted murder to imprisonment for eight years.
