Regional politician Kenneth Östberg (S) on the birth billions: "That's why we did not use all the money"

The political majority in Region Västmanland has refrained from using the entire state subsidy that was aimed at women's health.

Instead, they have chosen to strengthen the women's clinic's budget by SEK 10.3 million per year from 2019, and use parts of the state grant for time-limited projects.
