Emmanuel Macron thus loses a point compared to the poll carried out on Tuesday by the institute, and Marine Le Pen wins one.

Five years ago, Emmanuel Macron won by 66.1% of the vote against 33.9% for Marine Le Pen.

More than two out of three voters are certain to vote

According to this survey, 69% of voters intend to vote on April 24 for the second round of the presidential election.

Abstention reached 26.3% in the first round.

The most important topics when going to vote for them will be purchasing power (cited by 63% of respondents) and social protection (51%), far ahead of security (39%), immigration (34 %) and employment (33%).

The survey was carried out from April 11 to 13 with a sample of 1,623 people registered on the electoral lists, taken from a sample of 1,688 people representative of the French population aged 18 and over.

The margin of error is 2.8%.

Voting intentions do not constitute a forecast of the outcome of the ballot.

They give an indication of the balance of power and dynamics on the day of the survey.
