“Ukrainian units in Zaporozhye (school No. 29) and Kramatorsk (school No. 20, a hospital building and a blood transfusion station) continue to equip firing positions, while local residents, medical personnel and patients are forcibly held as human shields,” Mizintsev said.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that in Kharkov, nationalists and the Armed Forces of Ukraine are equipping firing positions in residential buildings, kindergartens and schools.
The ministry also noted that the Ukrainian side continues to place heavy weapons in residential areas.
