“The telephone conversation with Jeyhun Bayramov was held on the initiative of the Azerbaijani side,” Mirzoyan is quoted by TASS.

According to him, the parties discussed the mechanism for forming a commission on delimitation and demarcation, as well as their vision of the issue of a possible conclusion of a peace agreement.

Earlier, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, following a meeting in Brussels with President of the European Council Charles Michel, agreed to establish a commission to delimit the Armenian-Azerbaijani border by the end of April.

They instructed the ministries of foreign affairs to begin preparatory work for peace talks between the two countries.

Russian President Vladimir Putin during a telephone conversation with Aliyev discussed the work on the delimitation of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border.

The Russian leader also had a telephone conversation with Pashinyan, during which politicians discussed bilateral relations between Russia and Armenia and preparations for Pashinyan's upcoming visit to Moscow.
