The skiers of Val d'Isère (Savoie) were treated to an extraordinary experience this Monday: skiing with an eagle!
Fletcher, a 13-year-old eagle, had fun going down the slopes with the athletes on the Solaise massif, reports

The event was organized by Val d'Isère Téléphériques and the Aigles du Léman, an animal park located in Haute-Savoie.
Fletcher's falconer, also the park manager, was on hand to oversee the attraction for skiers.

The event, followed by a bird of prey show, was an opportunity to introduce holidaymakers to the different species of the region.
A descent of the track followed by a show will be organized again on Monday April 25 in the town for those who missed the first edition.
