1. Shorten the time limit for nucleic acid testing and sampling of personnel going to China
(1) Those who have completed the whole course of vaccination should conduct nasopharyngeal swab nucleic acid testing at the testing institution designated by the embassy within 48 hours before boarding.
The first test is within 48 hours before boarding and the second test within 12 hours before boarding.
The time interval between the two detections is more than 24 hours.
(2) Those who have not been vaccinated (including those who have not been vaccinated, those who have not completed the whole course of vaccination, and those who have been vaccinated twice on the same day) should undergo a nucleic acid test and a nucleic acid test at the testing institution designated by the embassy within 48 hours before boarding. Serum antibody IgG, IgM test; 1 nucleic acid test at the nucleic acid testing agency designated by the embassy within 12 hours before boarding.
If the above two types of personnel are indeed unable to complete the nucleic acid test within 12 hours before boarding, the sampling time limit will be relaxed to within 24 hours, but a rapid antigen test (Test d) within 12 hours before boarding must be added at the testing institution designated by the embassy. Those with positive antigen test results are not allowed to board the plane and return to China, and must undergo nucleic acid testing in a timely manner.
If the nucleic acid test result is positive, it will be regarded as an infected person and should take the initiative to report to the embassy; if the nucleic acid test result is negative, the prevention and control will be carried out according to the requirements of the close contact personnel.
Chinese and foreign passengers going to China should apply for a health code with all the above negative test certificates.
2. Increase the testing institutions recognized by the embassy
In view of the limited testing capacity of the Niger Medical and Health Research Center (Cermès), the embassy has added two accredited testing institutions:
(1) CNPC (Niger) Nucleic Acid Testing Laboratory (only for CNPC employees).
(2) The nucleic acid testing laboratory of the Chinese medical team in Niger (providing testing for individual overseas Chinese and personnel of enterprises outside the CNPC system).
In order to achieve a better detection effect and meet the local requirements of Niger, please go to the Niger Health and Medical Research Center for the first nucleic acid test within 48 hours before the trip to China, and go to China for the second nucleic acid test within 12 hours before the trip. 3. After the sampling time limit for the two nucleic acid tests is shortened, the time limit for passengers to complete the test and apply for a health code is even tighter.
In order to ensure that passengers can obtain the health code in time, all applicants are requested to submit the application for the health code as soon as possible after receiving the report, and check the above list of materials to ensure that the uploaded materials are complete and the information is filled in correctly, so as to ensure smooth mobile communication.
The Chinese Embassy in Niger will make every effort to speed up the review. Please wait patiently after submitting the application, and do not make frequent calls to urge it, so as not to interfere with the review progress.
4. This notice will be implemented from April 18, 2022.
