At least five people were shot at a subway station in New York on the way to work, which appeared to be a 'don't ask crime'.
According to the New York Times (NYT) on the 12th (local time), the New York Police Department (NYPD) received a report that an accident occurred at the 36th Street subway station in Brooklyn, New York around 8:30 am that day.
Brooklyn 36th Street Station is a transit station where 3 lines in New York pass.
Initial investigation by the police showed that the shooting occurred on a station platform, and five people were shot.
The perpetrator was known to be wearing a gas mask and an orange safety vest used at the construction site.
Police are looking for the perpetrator who fled the scene.
