RN candidate Marine Le Pen held a press conference in Eure on Tuesday on the subject of the exercise of power.

After having mentioned the main points of her program, the deputy of the National Rally wanted to highlight the demonization of the party by excluding any rallying of Éric Zemmour.

Marine Le Pen wants to take care of her image as a presidential candidate before the second round.

In a press conference devoted to the exercise of power on Tuesday in Vernon, in Eure, the RN presidential candidate recalled the main lines of her program aimed at reviving democracy, from proportional representation for the legislative elections to the return of the seven-year term, as his opponent Emmanuel Macron also proposes, through the creation of a citizens' initiative referendum (RIC).

Avoid authoritarianism by promoting the referendum

Marine Le Pen also wants to increase the referendums of "presidential" initiative.

An opportunity to stand out from the outgoing president and to denounce his proposal for a referendum on pensions, considered as an end-of-campaign maneuver.

“He will not do it if he is ever elected,” she first warned.

"Why? Because he has not used the referendum once for five years, because he is fundamentally opposed to it and because he is afraid of the people", launched Marine Le Pen.

The objective of this press conference two days after the first round is clear: the candidate of the National Rally wants to show the French how she would govern, and she wants to avoid any trial for authoritarianism.

No rallying with Éric Zemmour

The MP for Pas-de-Calais also unveiled her new campaign poster on Tuesday morning.

We see a Marine Le Pen in a position similar to that of the portrait of Emmanuel Macron, standing, leaning on a desk.

His name does not appear, only a slogan: "For all French people".

The RN candidate also wants to avoid at all costs "redemonization", the privileged angle of attack of the president-candidate.

This is why Marine Le Pen was very clear about not joining Éric Zemmour, whom she considers far too radical.

The ex-controversy will therefore not appear in his government in the event of victory on the evening of the second round.

There will also be no ministry for his niece, Marion Maréchal.
