“An investigation is underway for aggravated violence and kidnapping and has been entrusted to the departmental security”, specifies Xavier Bonhomme.

They are suspected of having kidnapped a 21-year-old from the Old Nice district, where he was arrested for tagging their vehicle, to the Vinaigrier park.

According to the elements of the local daily, it was other municipal police officers who arrested the young man before bringing him back to the vandalized car.

CCTV footage confirms he was indeed changed to a vehicle and taken east of town.
