China News Service, Beijing, April 12 (Reporter Sun Zifa) The Institute of Aerospace Information Innovation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) announced on April 12 that the China Remote Sensing Satellite Ground Station affiliated to the academy has successfully received Gaofen-3. 03 star data, data processing is normal.

According to the Chinese Academy of Aeronautics and Astronautics, on the afternoon of April 11, the Miyun station of China's remote sensing satellite ground station successfully completed the satellite-earth connectivity test, and then completed the tracking, reception, recording and tracking of the first orbit observation data of the Gaofen-3 03 satellite as planned. transmission.

After that, the Sanya station of China's remote sensing satellite ground station also completed the satellite data reception task as planned.

As of noon on April 12, China's remote sensing satellite ground station had received a total of about 44GB of satellite data, and all received data were processed normally.

The Gaofen-3 03 satellite was successfully launched on April 7. It is one of the synthetic aperture radar operational satellites planned for China's civil space infrastructure. The satellite payload is in charge of the overall system by the team of the Aerospace Microwave Remote Sensing System Department of the Chinese Academy of Aeronautics and Astronautics. China Remote Sensing The satellite ground station is responsible for receiving data from the satellite.

In the future, the Gaofen-3 03 satellite will operate in a network with the already in-orbit Gaofen-3 01 and Gaofen-3 02 satellites to meet the needs of users in various industries for rapid revisit observations.

The Chinese Academy of Aeronautics and Astronautics stated that in the future, the China Remote Sensing Satellite Ground Station will continue to provide reliable data reception guarantees for the follow-up satellite missions planned by China's civil space infrastructure.
