“Residents of Belgorod can sign up for a voluntary people's squad,” the mayor's office says on its website.
It is noted that the duties of the combatant include patrolling the streets in the evening and at night, as well as helping the police to ensure law and order.
A list of required documents is also provided.
Earlier, as reported by kp.ru, damage to the railway tracks was recorded in the Shebekinsky district, which borders on the Kharkiv region.
There were no casualties as a result of the incident.
