A fault causing the leak

It was a neighbor who gave the alert around 9 p.m. after smelling a strong smell of gas emanating from the building.

The firefighters first evacuated the building before inspecting it, finding a leak in a dwelling.

The air in the apartment was visibly totally saturated with gas.

GRDF's rescue and emergency services carried out a ventilation of the premises and a brief investigation.

It turns out that the gas leak was due to a simple malfunction, which has been resolved.

The incident caused no damage and the residents were quickly able to return to their homes.
