Zelensky: Probably tens of thousands killed in Mariupol

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Monday that tens of thousands were likely killed in the Russian attack on the southeastern city of Mariupol.

In a video address to South Korean lawmakers, Zelensky said: "Mariopol has been destroyed and there are tens of thousands of dead, but despite this, the Russians did not stop their attack."

Reuters could not verify the accuracy of his estimate.
