“Submit proposals for an additional increase (indexation) of the amount of pensions (including those paid to persons who have served in the military, and persons equated to them in terms of pensions), social benefits,” the list of instructions published on the Kremlin website says.
The Russian leader also instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to present ideas for raising salaries for public sector employees, as well as increasing the minimum wage and the living wage.
Earlier, Putin instructed to ensure in 2022 a reduction in the level of poverty and income inequality.
