The second candidate with the most votes in the region is Emmanuel Macron who won 25.39% of the votes cast.

Jean-Luc Mélenchon is positioned in third place with 18.98% of the votes.

The abstention rate in Hauts-de-France during the first round of the 2022 presidential election reached 26.94%, which is higher than the national average at 25.14%.

In the first round of the previous presidential election in 2017, candidates Marine Le Pen and Jean-Luc Mélenchon came out on top with 31.04% and 19.59% of the votes respectively.
