In the LPR, an employee of the OSCE SMM was detained on suspicion of treason

“The Ministry of State Security of the Lugansk People's Republic on suspicion of committing a crime under Art.

335 of the Criminal Code of the LPR (“High treason”), an employee of the Luhansk team of the Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE SMM) was detained,” the message says.

According to the agency, a member of the mission handed over to a foreign organization information directed against the security of the republic.

Earlier, the DPR State Defense Committee declared the activities of the OSCE SMM on the territory of the republic unlawful.

Mission members were ordered to leave the DPR by April 30.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Donetsk People's Republic, Natalya Nikonorova, announced the detention in the DPR of a local resident who worked in the OSCE special monitoring mission.
