The command center said there were 431 new local cases today, including 209 males, 219 females, and 3 under investigation, aged between under 5 years old and in their 80s.
The command center explained that today's new cases of immigration from abroad are 83 males, 59 females, and 2 cases under investigation, aged from under 5 years old to over 60 years old, with 31 cases from Vietnam being the most.
The command center stated that from April 9th to May 6th, all passengers coming to Taiwan who take Vietnam’s regular flights must add “antigen within 6 hours before boarding, in addition to the nucleic acid report within 2 days before boarding. Quick screening report”, and the airline will assign special personnel to supervise passengers for quick screening.
According to the statistics of the command center, up to now, a total of 7,361,864 cases of novel coronavirus pneumonia have been notified, of which 27,410 have been confirmed.
