  Yoon Seok-wook nominated National Power Party member Choo Kyung-ho as the first deputy economic prime minister and minister of finance and economics of the new government, Lee Jong-sub, former deputy secretary of the Joint Staff Headquarters, as defense minister, and former Jeju governor Won Hee-ryong as minister of land and transportation.
