Russian forces destroy Ukrainian military convoy
Russian attack helicopters destroyed a convoy of Ukrainian armored vehicles and anti-aircraft weapons, Interfax news agency reported, citing the Russian Defense Ministry.
"Ka-52 attack helicopters ... destroyed weapons and military equipment of the Ukrainian armed forces," the agency quoted the ministry as saying in a statement.
Ukrainian military officials could not be reached for comment.
Reuters was not yet able to verify the authenticity of the news.
The news agency said the ministry released video footage of KA-52 attack helicopters flying at a very low altitude, firing missiles and cannon fire at ground targets.
The location and timing of the attack was not specified.
