The second candidate with the most votes in the region is Marine Le Pen who won 17.92% of the votes cast.

Emmanuel Macron is positioned in third place with 13.43% of the votes.

The abstention rate in Guadeloupe during the first round of the 2022 presidential election reached 55.25%, which is higher than the national average at around 26%.

In the first round of the previous presidential election in 2017, candidates Emmanuel Macron and Jean-Luc Mélenchon came out on top with 30.23% and 24.13% of the votes respectively.
