The results of the first round of the presidential election are in.

In Lille, Jean-Luc Mélenchon came out on top with 55% of the vote.

In 2017, Jean-Luc Mélenchon came out on top in the city, followed by Emmanuel Macron, François Fillon and Marine Le Pen.

The participation rate was 74.54%.

The results of the first round of the presidential election fell this Sunday evening.

Jean-Luc Mélenchon arrived (by a wide margin) in the lead in Lille, followed by Emmanuel Macron and Marine Le Pen.

At the national level, Emmanuel Macron came first, credited with 27 to 29.5% of the vote, ahead of the RN candidate, given 23/24% at the end of the first round.

The Insoumis Jean-Luc Mélenchon came in third position (20/21%), while LR and the PS achieved the worst score in their history: Valérie Pécresse around 5% of the vote and Anne Hidalgo with 2%.
