Sonic, inspired by the video game of the same name, steals the show from the vampiric "Morbius", the umpteenth superhero film in the Marvel universe, in 2nd place at the North American box office with just over 10 million dollars harvested.

The feature film with Jared Leto in the title role narrates the horrors of Doctor Michael Morbius, a scientist suffering from an incurable disease, who will become a vampire in spite of himself by injecting himself with a serum made from bat DNA. and will not be able to prevent himself from killing to drink the blood of his victims.

In third place on the podium, "The Secret of the Lost City", an action film mixed with romantic comedy with Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum, with more than 9 million dollars.

Then comes "Ambulance", a remake of a Danish film of the same name which for its release raised some 8.7 million dollars.

Another Batman film, "The Batman", retracing the dark adventures of the masked vigilante with Robert Pattinson, places him in fifth position with 6.5 million dollars.
