On the evening of April 7, a car flew over a one-meter-high fence at high speed in Shuixiang Township, Chiayi, Taiwan, and smashed into the railroad tracks and collided with a train between Taiwan Railways.
The accident killed the driver of the car at the scene.
Due to the huge impact force, the car body was deformed and twisted, and was rolled into a mass of scrap metal.
At the time of the incident, there were about 30 passengers on the train, and Taiwan Railways dispatched a local train to connect the passengers to Chiayi Station for rescue.
