These are two different incidents that took place in 2020 and 2021. On the first occasion, at an address in the Jönköping area, the policeman intervened against a man suspected of robbery.

According to the indictment, the police used unnecessary force by hitting the suspect in the face in connection with the arrest, which caused pain and wounds to the face.

Was bitten by a police dog

On the second occasion, which took place in Gislaved municipality, the police were alerted to a company where a man was suspected of stealing copper.

After a hunt in a forest area, the suspected thief must have been bitten in both the back and legs of the policeman's service dog.

According to the indictment, he must also, in what is described as an indefensible way, have been beaten by the policeman in the head and face with a baton.

The man was taken to hospital where he had his injuries taken care of.

The policeman denies crime in both cases and believes that it was messy situations that forced the use of force.
