Nonviolent civil disobedience activists are gaining ground.

The first meeting took place in Hyde Park, this Saturday, April 9.

“We are doing training here in Hyde Park.

People get into small groups and are trained in nonviolent actions,

she explains.

For example, if you sit in the middle of a road and the police come, you are not resisting arrest.

You can also climb a tree and refuse to come down, or chain yourself to a facility

They will begin on Monday April 11 and will last 10 days.
