At five o'clock on Friday morning, a truck drove into the ditch on highway 52. ​​The road is completely closed and the salvage is expected to continue until 10.00.

Shortly after 8 o'clock, another accident occurred, this time on highway 56 between Äs and Hjälmaresund, where a truck drove into the ditch.

Initially, the road was kept closed, but now the rescue service is in place and the traffic runs alternately.

- The truck is on its side and right now the diesel tank is being emptied before salvage.

There is no dangerous cargo and the driver is fairly unharmed, says Morgan Wass, duty officer at the rescue service.

Police: "Content on large parts of the road network"

The police have also been at the scene and there is no suspicion of crime.

- The ambulance staff said that there was huge content on the road, so of course there is content on large parts of the road network in Sörmland, says Thomas Agnevik, the police's press spokesperson.

According to the Swedish Transport Administration's forecast, the impact on traffic is very large until 10.30.
