Södra's announcement that the tennis hall at Teleborg in Växjö will be converted into a gym and paddle hall for Södra's employees means that Växjö Tennissällskap will get rid of four of the city's ten available indoor courts.

A loss that poses major problems for Växjö TS.

Already after Easter, Växjö tennis club's opportunity to rent courts at Södra's arena disappears.

In future, only Södra's company's own staff will be given increased opportunities to use the arena.

Casper Danielsson is press officer at Södra's head office in Växjö.

- Now we have seen a need to make the hall accessible to even more people and to have a wider range, both of Padel and gym, says Casper Danielsson.

Understand the disappointment

Casper Danielsson understands that their decision can create problems for Växjö Tennissällskap, which is already in great need of courts.

- We also understand that those who play tennis here do not think that this is not a positive decision for them, but for Södra's part, it is about offering as much accessible health care as possible for our employees.
