Pehrson: "We have been perceived as sacred"

The term of office has been special, says Pehrson in Aktuellt.

He highlights the cracked January agreement with the Social Democrats, the Center Party and the Moderates as well as the party's decision to open up for cooperation with the Sweden Democrats.

- It is clear that it has made many people, who may not be involved in politics every day, perceive us as unclear.

Sabuni's resignation has not been preceded by any discussions in the party board, according to Pehrson.

- I had seen that she could have continued but she made the decision - I have great respect for that.

The focus is now on keeping the party together, says Johan Pehrson.

- I feel that our party today is more united than in a long time.
