Second, scientific planning.
After long-term planning and demonstration, major water conservancy projects are proposed from the overall and long-term perspective, taking into account the needs of economic and social development, planning layout, ecological environment impact, and progress of preliminary work, and have a good planning basis.

For example, in recent years, the Three Gorges Reservoir has implemented ecological regulation to adjust the ecological flow process and promote the natural spawning and reproduction of downstream fish.
In the first quarter of this year, the Three Gorges Water Conservancy Project supplied water to the downstream for 78 days, and the total amount of water supply reached 4.82 billion cubic meters.
