Hear more from queuing and the police in the clip above.

When SVT Nyheter Väst arrives in Landvetter shortly after lunch and enters the office building where the provocative passports are issued, there are people sitting in the entire stairwell waiting their turn.

Nina says that she arrived early in the morning and that she will probably stay there for a while longer.

- I have number 52 so it will probably take all day, she says.

"Bad information"

Several people have contacted SVT Nyheter Väst about the difficulty of obtaining temporary passports.

Some have told me to queue all day without coming forward and getting help.

- It is very bad information, no one said anything about us not being able to make it during the day, says a woman who wishes to remain anonymous.

She and her family had to return home to try again the next day.

Reduced queue may be delayed

And the light in the tunnel for those who need a new passport may take a while longer.

- We are heading towards an Easter with a lot of travel and then at a furious pace towards summer.

The authority knows about this and is looking at the possibilities of increasing the pace, says Mikael Holmgren, head of the Gothenburg border police.
