Eighty percent of the work on the rock in Barkarby is now complete to make room for the extension of the blue line from Akalla metro station to Barkarbystaden's future station.
The metro is expected to be operational in 2026.
- Yesterday we blew up the tunnel where the subway will go south and today we blow up to open up the tunnel in a northerly direction, says Jiri Horciecka, site manager at the construction site.
