The bill stipulates that the government will be empowered to investigate the suppliers of companies so that important products such as semiconductors and pharmaceuticals that are indispensable to people's lives can be stably supplied.



In addition, there is a system that allows patent applications to be kept private for military technologies that may impair the safety of the people.



Regarding the bill, an incidental resolution was adopted by the House of Representatives Cabinet Committee on the 6th, which took into consideration the opinions of businesses and organizations involved in the designation of "specified important supplies."
