For several years, Friluftsbadet in Bjuv has had both young people and adults breaking into the facility during the evening.

- It is primarily young people, but we have also had situations with adult families.

As I have understood it, it is something that has been going on for a long time, says Matthias Gustafsson, safety coordinator Bjuv municipality.

Last year, the municipality set up both cameras and devices that make a disturbing noise.

But despite this, further measures must be taken to overcome the problem.

- The alarm we have had before has not been optimal because it has not covered the entire bathing surface.

What we have done for the coming summer is that we have set up a higher fence and installed another alarm system, says Matthias Gustafsson.

Alarms and cameras

The alarm is connected to the alarm center and those staying inside the facility will be met by security guards.

There has been camera surveillance when Friluftsbadet is closed and it will be reviewed.

The question of a higher fence has been debated for a long time and whether it would have any effect.

- They had probably taken over anyway but now we have supplemented with alarms and hopefully better cameras.

We have taken it seriously and now we are doing so that it will not be like previous summers, says Matthias Gustafsson.

Several of the neighbors to Friluftsbadet have contacted the municipality, but they think that the measures are of no use.
