Three days earlier, he was accused of having raped and assaulted a 73-year-old lady in a town near Liffré on the outskirts of Rennes.
The victim, whom the individual knew "as being a friend of his grandmother", was prescribed a ten-day ITT.
Found in someone's trash
Known to the judiciary, the alleged rapist had managed to escape the gendarmes the evening of the attack by fleeing in a vehicle.
An important device was then deployed to try to find him with a helicopter and around thirty gendarmes, including soldiers from the Gendarmerie Surveillance and Intervention Platoon (Psig).
He had finally been arrested the next morning when he was hidden in the trash of a private individual, specifies the daily.
