Yasmin has researched cancer cells and exposed them to different types of drugs, then she has seen how the cells develop over time and investigated how they are affected.
The cancer cells became smaller and changed shape - but so did other cells.
- It shows the importance of developing drugs that only affect the cancer cells and not "healthy" cells, says Yasmin.
The winners can compete internationally
The winners will be crowned on Thursday, and then Sweden's young national research team will also be chosen.
- Those who win the international travel scholarships will be part of the national team and compete internationally for Sweden during the year, says Anna Hedlund, who is general secretary of the youth association Young Researchers, which arranges the competition.
