Twice in two days, teenage schoolgirls on the Zeil were attacked and robbed by girls of about the same age.

It is still unclear whether it is the same perpetrators, said a police spokesman on Wednesday when asked by the FAZ.

Because of the local proximity and the similar course of events, the police are investigating in this direction.

The first act happened on Monday evening in the B level of the Konstablerwache.

According to the police, two 14-year-old schoolgirls were on their way to the S-Bahn at around 8:15 p.m. when a group of three girls asked them to hand over their money.

When the fourteen-year-olds refused, they were insulted, kicked and beaten.

The perpetrators finally fled with a loot of about 40 euros.

The two victims were not injured.

The second robbery happened on Tuesday evening: According to the police, two 13 and 14-year-old schoolgirls were on the roof terrace of the "My Zeil" shopping center around 7 p.m. when a group of four girls asked them to come along.

Intimidated by the threat of "being stabbed otherwise", the two girls accompanied the group to a multi-storey car park on Konrad-Adenauer-Strasse.

Another girl in the group was waiting on one of the upper parking decks.

The perpetrators searched a bag for valuables, the younger of the two victims had to take off his hat and shoes.

In addition, the two girls were insulted.

With a €100 note, a black Lacoste winter hat, white Nike sneakers and Apple Airpods, the group exited the parking garage, leaving the two frightened girls behind.

The perpetrators are described as 14 to 16 years old, of medium height, with heavy makeup and straight, dark brown, long hair.
