Carolo Ruiz
, the only son of actress Terele Pávez, has died at the age of 49.
He has announced the official Instagram account of the Pávez Awards and has echoed the sad news

"Today is a very sad day for the entire Pavez Awards family. We regret to announce the
death of Carolo Ruiz, son of our dear godmother Terele Pávez. At
the Pávez Awards we want to highlight the great willingness and commitment he always had with our organization and with our city Talavera de la Reina", the organization has published.
Shortly after, the actor and director
Santiago Segura
posted an emotional message on his Instagram account along with a
photo of Terele and his son
.
"Those slaps that life gives you with an open hand, with force, as if to say, don't be so calm, sweetheart, this is how it is. And you're left with an asshole face, because Carolo was one of the kindest and sweetest people with whom that one can find... and he was 49 years old," he wrote.
The actor was a great friend of Terele, who died five years ago due to a stroke at the age of 78.
He also had a relationship with her only son, Carolo, born from the relationship of the unforgettable Régula de

.
Segura has also referred to the close relationship between mother and son throughout his life.
"He adored his mother, and she adored him.

has lamented that he has not been able to say goodbye to his friend.
