Dressed in their traditional outfits, thousands of indigenous people occupied a large field on Tuesday, April 5, located four kilometers from the presidential palace, the Congress and the Supreme Court in Brasilia.
Six months before the presidential election, they came to denounce the economic exploitation of their territories.

The natives gathered in Brasilia around conferences on the defense of their rights represent some 0.2% of the 212 million Brazilians, but their reservations occupy approximately 13% of the country's territory.

All of them denounce the acceleration of economic projects in their territories.
