Self-medicates the children against long-term covid - mother Malin got enough of the wait

Malin from Sollentuna suspects that her child suffered from mast cell activation and histamine intolerance after the covid infection two years ago.

She and the children's father have drawn the conclusion after going through 200 international studies themselves - and talking to other affected families.

Researcher: "May be right"

According to researcher Petter Brodin at Karolinska Institutet, the parents may be right, but write in an email to SVT that the research on the connection "so far is very weak".

In some cases, children are treated for long-term covid symptoms, but there is no specific treatment or guidelines in care yet.
