Something that was very gratifying for the basketball high school's principal Camilla Rejsmar.
- This is huge and in Norrköping we have good basketball culture with a good history, we hope it will be a boost for youth sports as well.
The current basketball high school in Norrköping is a nationally approved sports education (NIU), which means that the school mainly has local / regional admission.
Now that it will be a national sports high school (RIG), the school will instead have national recruitment and the students will receive accommodation support.
Within a RIG education, there is also a higher requirement for social care of students.
- We already have a good organization with school, sports and dormitories, says Camilla Rejsmar.
The education will start in Norrköping between 2023 and 2025.
