The public prosecutor of Bonneville (Haute-Savoie) announced on Monday the arrest a few days earlier of four individuals suspected of being involved in drug trafficking.

The latter would have offered the delivery of cannabis according to a system nicknamed "Uber shit".

Three of those arrested were indicted, reports France 3 Auvergne Rhône-Alpes.

Gendarmerie investigation

Aged 19 to 21, the suspects are also suspected of extortion with a weapon, kidnapping and forcible confinement with acts of intimidation.

The gendarmes had uncovered drug trafficking using social networks and operating throughout the Arve valley (Haute-Savoie) after three months of investigation.

The indicted would have set up this organization in 2021. Two of them were placed in pre-trial detention.

It would be the main person in charge of the drive-by drug delivery system and his accomplice.

The third man was released on bail.
