The Värmland stand will be included in the book and library fair in 2022, that decision was made by Region Värmland's culture and education committee on Tuesday.
But whether there will be a continuation after that remains to be seen.
Investigation begins
After this year's fair, the region will evaluate the participation and then investigate whether there will be a continuation or whether the presence can be developed.
The investigation will be led by Henrik Svensson, director of public health and culture.
- The Värmland stand has been much appreciated and we see a value in participating in the fair again this year.
But we also need to evaluate our efforts at the book fair to see if it has a positive effect on Värmland, says Elisabeth Kihlström (KD), chair of the culture and education committee, in a press release.
