According to the construction project of Siem Reap Angkor International Airport in Cambodia, 19% of the terminal building of the airport has been completed, and 90% of the aviation oil depot is completed. It is expected to be put into operation in October 2023.

  In order to protect the historical relics of Angkor Wat, the Cambodian government previously decided to relocate the new Siem Reap Airport. Subsequently, three provincial state-owned enterprises in Yunnan Province of China, Yuntou Group, Yunnan Construction Investment Group, and Yunnan Airport Group, jointly registered and established Wuhu in Cambodia. Colombia International Airport Investment (Cambodia) Co., Ltd.

  According to Lu Wei, chairman of Angkor International Airport Investment (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., at present, there are more than 40 enterprises and nearly 2,000 local managers, technicians and construction personnel from China and Cambodia on the project site to promote the project construction.

The concrete structure of the terminal building of the project has been capped, the earthwork of the flight area has been successfully completed, and the basic engineering construction of the auxiliary supporting projects has been completed.
