Despite frightening findings of hundreds of civilians killed and hair-raising testimonies from Butjabor about the torture, rape and assassination of Russian soldiers by the Russian regime, the Russian regime denies any knowledge of what happened.

The information is described by Foreign Minister Lavrov as a "false attack" carried out by Ukraine after the Russian invasion forces left the city.

Russia has requested an extraordinary UN meeting on the events.

- These are terrible lies from both Putin and Lavrov.

Holding a meeting of the UN Security Council is completely meaningless because Russia has a right of veto and would stop all decisions that go against them, says Bert Sundström.

Sundström believes, however, that many in Russia have been fed up with the regime's lies for so long that they have come to believe them.
