An educational assistant (AED) employed at the Gisèle-Halimi college in Aubervilliers (Seine-Saint-Denis) was attacked on Thursday.

He was beaten up by a group of young people from outside the establishment, reports

Le Parisien

.

In question: the confiscation of a student's laptop by the AED, during a permanence.

The girl would have called her older brother, who arrived with reinforcements.

All of them succeeded in entering the college.

The brother was received by the principal of the college who tried to calm the situation, in vain.

The lack of human resources denounced

The student's older brother, in fifth grade, is apparently not one of the attackers.

Shocked and hurt, the AED filed a complaint.

The college administration should follow suit and file a complaint for the trespass.

The schoolgirl has been temporarily excluded and will be presented to a disciplinary council in April.

After these facts, the teachers' union Snes-FSU filed a strike notice for Tuesday.

A meeting was held on Monday to decide on the terms of action.

The union also warned the academic director of the lack of human resources to operate this establishment in REP + (priority education network).
