More than 2,000 people from 50 different countries and 70 organizations participate in the international exercise Viking 22. A large part of the exercise is led by the Management Regiment in Enköping, where 170 people sit in a so-called "situation center".

- We hope that when individuals and units that participate in the exercise end up in similar situations in sharp activity, they recognize themselves and have a better ability to solve those situations, says Michael Nilsson, exercise leader Viking 22.

Around 1,000 military, civilian and police participants are in Enköping, but the exercise is also taking place in Uppsala, Karlskrona and Kungsängen.

In addition, people from five other countries participate.

The exercise runs until Thursday.
