A car carrying five young people aged 18 to 20 went off the road this Saturday morning in Cruseilles (Haute-Savoie) and ended up in a ravine, seriously injuring him, who was hospitalized.

After the accident, the vehicle caught fire.

An investigation is underway, reports

.

According to the first elements, the five young people had taken the road after a night in a disco.

The driver of the car, aged 19, was driving under the influence of narcotics.

He and a passenger of the same age were taken into custody for several reasons.

Prolonged custody

The police investigation also determined that the car was stolen.

Its owner had reported the theft a few weeks earlier.

The young people would have voluntarily set fire to the vehicle after falling into the ravine.

This Monday, the custody of the two suspects was extended.

Several people have yet to be heard by the gendarmes as part of the flagrance investigation into these facts.
